Thor of July

I have been really busy doing dog things (you wouldn't understand) so I haven't had a chance to update my blog as often as I would have liked.

I just celebrated my first birthday on the 4th of July. My mom made me an awesome cake with ground beef and carrots. Yum!

RAW

Today I started my raw diet. I was a little hesitant at first when I saw a chicken leg in my bowl. I licked it a lot. My mom tried to take it away from me to cut it in smaller pieces but I wasn't having any of that.

Of course it would taste better on the floor than in my bowl so I decided to put it on the ground in front of my bowl. And then I had an even better idea...drag it all around the dining room so I could enjoy it in each and every spot.

My mom has been mopping ever since.

Styling and Profiling

I got a new haircut yesterday. It took my mom 45 minutes with a pair of scissors. I think I'm looking pretty darn good.

After we got a few inches of snow last night, I couldn't wait to go out and play.

My first hike

I went hiking on Friday and I conquered Reedy Creek park. I also went on a history tour to see the Robinson Rock House Ruins. We learned all about pioneer farming in NC over the past 200+ years. Obviously, my father took me on this outing!

Happy Birthday Nicholas!

On Valentine's Day, we went to Nicholas' 6th Birthday Party. I went on an Indiana Jones scavenger hunt. My favorite part was all the attention I received.

Garbage everywhere

As you can see below, I had fun today. The garbage sure is delicious. I discovered I have a love for chicken wings and hot sauce.

Who knew I could get into the bathroom when the door was shut? Just call me MacGyver.

Charleston Trip

The pictures above are from our trip to Charleston last weekend. We had fun dancing and walking along the battery. Boy am I worn out. I don't think I have ever played that hard.

I was very excited to make lots of new dog friends at the Charleston dog parks. I even visited Three Dog Bakery and ate some delicious new treats.

I give Charleston two paws up and can't wait to go back. Hopefully I will get in the ocean next time!

SNOW DAY

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday to my human grandmother. She let me wear her cool tiara at her Birthday dinner. I'm not supposed to mention how old she is but if you look closely, you can see her age.

Dancing with Dogs

Last night, I practiced my dance routine. I'm pretty sure I am going to win the Dancing with Dogs competition.

Go Steelers

My Aunt Betsy and Uncle Darryl gave me a Steelers shirt yesterday that I am going to wear during the Superbowl. Its a little tight but I wore it last night anyway.

Catching up on my reading

I went to the doc earlier this week to get my shots so I can play with other dogs. Boy am I glad to finally be able to go to the dog park. While I was at the vet, I decided to catch up on a little reading.

Hawaiian Shirt Day

My grandpa gave me this awesome shirt as a welcome home present. It's ok for you to be jealous.

On the way to my new home...

On January 11th, my new parents drove to Tennessee to pick me up from my foster family. I was very excited to finally meet them.

I was scared to first to get in the car but started to enjoy the ride until we got to the mountains. It was really windy and I got sick a few times.
